Things of Desire was established in 1999 by Alan Arab and Angela Nichol. Angela has a degree in Fashion Design from Emily Mc Pherson College and well-known clients include NZ film director J.Campion from the "Piano" fame, Split Enz and Sigrid Thornton. Alan is an established fashion photographer and stylist.

Angela has been in Fashion retail most of her professional life. With partner Alan Arab she is now concentrating on imports from France and running ‘Things of Desire’ and ‘Wings of Desire’ at 6 Style Arcade, Manuka ACT.

The shops feature labels such as Cop Copine, Hua, David Pond, Vixen, Etincelle, Adam pour Eve, Santorini, Save the Queen, Fred Sun, Nougat, Hoshika, Kondo and Moss+Spy.

Wings of Desire is continuously searching the fashion capitals of the world to import an eclectic mix of labels - some formal, some directional. Alan and Angela understand the differing needs of their customers. They take pride in empowering their customers by dressing them in creations that combine desire with quality, shape and style. Alan and Angela strive to ensure the customer experience is always an enjoyable one.
